Pulpy Shilpy and MC Manmeet Kaur to Play '2024' Mumbai

Orbs Cure Lab machinates a donor-driven event at G5A Foundation for Contemporary Culture

Fresh off the release of her debut electronic music EP ‘Slough’, Gowri Jayakumar (Pulpy Shilpy) will be playing at ‘2024’. Gowri -  a veritable cross-media storyteller herself - will also be joined by MC Manmeet Kaur, who in a short time has cultivated a generous selection of clever, engaging hip-hop tunes.

Between electronic, hip-hop, and spoken word performances, Orbs Cure Labs' ‘2024’ promises to be an intimate night of festivities with some of the more interesting artists on the Indian music scene horizon. Organised in cahoots with, and at, G5A Foundation for Contemporary Culture -- a not-for-profit community in Mahalaxmi, Mumbai, devoted to fortifying local cultural fabric -- ‘2024’ will take place on June 14, 2019, 7pm onwards.

This donor-funded event will also include performances by rapper MC Tod Fod and his bright, shrewd political and social commentary, neighbourhood fave hip-hop collective Swadesi, and German National Award Bremer Jazzpreis 2012 and Future Sounds Jazz Award 2014 nominee TL Majumdar with his latest project EveryNowWhere.
