Absolute belters in less than a week, Delhi!
Continuing the embryonic tradition of local female artists opening for international acts in Delhi, Coven Code member Shireen Jawed will be opening for Herrensauna resident SPFDJ this Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Auro Kitchen & Bar. SPFDJ will be performing as part of a two-city India tour orchestrated by Regenerate, playing in Delhi as part of Wild City's Various Artists events series which has previously played host to the likes of Ikonika, Scratch DVA, Tijana T, Donna Leake, Sarah Farina, and Cashu among many notable others.Shireen keeps it heavy and high-intensity with techno and UK bass variations, while revealing broader horizons and psychedelic nuance. Appearing more and more frequently on the local scene, she has used these exchanges as opportunity to develop an almost nonchalant competence and skill, all while holding down a full-time job like it ain't nothing but a thing.
Shireen's propensity for crystalline belters makes her a fantastic lead-in for SPFDJ who in turn has been cutting teeth at Brutaż (Krakow) and Universe of Tang (London) with gabber kicks and unforgiving BPMs. This one will be a joy to witness.
